QVC and CEW Present Beauty With Benefits

0

The QVC and CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Beauty With Benefits event is airing tomorrow 5/18 from 6-8pm Eastern Time and 80% of the purchase price of items purchased will go to benefit Cancer and Careers.

Cancer and Careers is a free resource for people who have cancer (or who have had cancer) and are in the workforce.  It offers advice and interactive tools on a variety of subjects such as legal rights, finances, managing side effects from treatment, dealing with co-workers, interviewing, resume building, and much more. I think the work they're doing is so important...not being affected by cancer myself, I never stopped to think about how difficult it must be to try to handle a full time job while dealing with something so scary. Their goal is to eliminate fear and uncertainty for working people with cancer and having these kind of resources can hopefully provide some comfort and peace of mind during a frightening time. If you know anyone who has cancer, I definitely recommend checking out their website.

Currently, there are 32 different products on QVC.com, generously donated by the brands that are part of the Beauty With Benefits show. When you purchase one of these items, 80% of the purchase price will go to Cancer and Careers, and you'll also receive a 6-piece gift with purchase with an $83 value featuring products from Philosophy, Mally Beauty, Dr. Dennis Gross and more.

QVC generously sent me some of the products in the show to try so that I could share my thoughts with you guys! All of these items are available now to purchase and will qualify you to get the $2 shipping and free 6-piece gift bag.

Nest Midnight Fleur 3-pc Layering Set ($72)
Midnight Fleur is one of my favorite fragrances of all time...it's creamy, warm, and sexy with notes of Exotic Woods, Black Amber, Patchouli, Night-Blooming Jasmine, and Vanilla Orchid. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear this and my husband loves it too which is definitely a plus. Even though it's warm and on the sweeter side, it doesn't smell like food (if you're not a fan of gourmand-type scents).
This set is a great deal because the 1.7oz Eau de Parfum retails for $72 at other retailers and here you're getting the fragrance, plus the full-sized Body Wash and Body Cream for the same price.

Tarte Energy Noir Palette ($38)-
This palette isn't new but if you like cool-toned, smoky eyeshadow shades it's a great option to try. It also comes with a really pretty pinky-nude blush, a champagne highlighter, and a double-ended brush.

T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Hair Dryer ($250)- Not only is this hair dryer pretty to look at (love the white and rose gold combo!), it also performs really well. It claims to create a high-volume of ion-rich air to dry hair quickly and without damage.  After using it for a few weeks, I can definitely say that it dries my hair super fast and somehow makes it feel healthier than any of my previous hair dryers. It's also very lightweight and comfortable to hold, which is a big plus!

Finally there are two fantastic overnight masks to try. The Facial Radiance Overnight Mask from First Aid Beauty ($38) is a gel-cream that contains AHA's to brighten and nourish the skin while you sleep. It's very gentle, so it's a great option if you have sensitive skin. Also, the Tula Multi-Spectrum Overnight Skin Rescue Treatment ($68.22) is an all-in-one superstar if you're looking for multiple anti-aging benefits. I've never tried anything from this brand before but I love this mask, so I'll definitely be trying some more Tula products in the future. It contains three different probiotic strains, AHA's, encapsulated Vitamin C, and retinol to improve collagen and elastin synthesis, fade dark spots, and blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in 7 days!
If any of these products sound great to you, head on over to QVC today or tomorrow to shop the Beauty With Benefits event. It's all for a great cause and there are lots of awesome products to choose from!
