The Pur Cosmetics Black Friday sale is in full swing with BOGO FREE sitewide (which is a crazy-good deal!), so I wanted to share some of my favorite PUR products with you guys because I feel like they're such an underrated brand. I don't often hear a lot of beauty bloggers/YouTubers talking about them, which means that you might not have any idea which products are worth picking up. So read on if you'd like to hear my tried-and-true favorites!
Next up is the Quick Pro Holiday Highlighting Palette ($32). This is the perfect highlighting palette if you have a fair to light skintone...I can use every color except the darkest Gold Rush shade. The formula is super smooth and creamy with almost no fallout. They go on subtle at first swipe but can be built up to a blinding highlight.
Also new for Holiday 2017 are these adorable Quick Pro Holiday Portables Eye and Lip Palette Pairs ($14). Each set comes with a mini eyeshadow palette with 6 shades and a mini lip palette with 6 shades. They're super small and fit right in the palm of your hand, which makes them the perfect party-clutch or purse size! These will also be available at Ulta on Black Friday for $14.
The first pair Day Dream, has really beautiful neutrals that are easy to wear everyday. The eyeshadows are really nicely pigmented and blendable and the lipsticks are really creamy and moisturizing with a bit of a shiny finish (but not as shiny as a gloss).
Night Fantasy has deeper, richer tones and the eyeshadow palette reminds me of a mini Modern Renaissance. Just like Day Dream, the shadows are really nicely pigmented and blend well on the eyes, and the lipsticks feel super creamy.
Next up is a palette I've been loving ever since I got it over the summer...the Soiree Diaries Palette ($34). It has such a great selection of wearable neutral shades with 8 mattes and 4 metallic shimmer shades. I happen to really love Pur's eyeshadow formula and I wish more people would talk about it...the pigmentation is fantastic and I find the powders to blend easily on my eyes. It's one of my favorite palettes to use everyday.
The Afterglow Illuminator ($25) is one of my favorite highlighters of all time (I talked about it in a post back in March during my Favorites series). It's a low-glow highlighter (like Laura Geller's French Vanilla and Essence Pure Nude) that gives the smoothest natural glow without glitter or too much shimmer. But of the two I just mentioned, I love the color of this one the best...it's perfect for my skin tone. If you love subtle highlighters, pick this one up, you won't be disappointed!
The Joystick Exfoliating Deep Pore Cleansing Stick ($26) is a favorite due to its portable stick packaging and deep cleaning formula. I would compare this to the Tarte Frxxxion stick in terms of its ability to exfoliate but this one is more suited toward oily and acne-prone skin types since it contains charcoal and Moroccan Lava Clay to draw out impurities. I have dry skin, but I use this occasionally to prevent monthly breakouts and it does a great job of keeping my skin smooth and clear.
There are only six shades but I wish there were more! I love all but the two lightest shades (they completely wash me out) but Squad is probably my favorite and the one I wear most often.
Last but not least are two palettes inspired by recent movies. Just like the other palettes mentioned above, these have a nicely-pigmented, blendable formula and come in more playful shades than the neutrals I talked about above. First is the DreamWorks Trolls Palette ($29). This has quite a few neutral shades with some bright pops of color.
Next up is the My Little Pony Palette ($29) which has lots of brights with a few neutrals mixed in.
Overall, I'm really excited about this sale and I hope this post inspired you to try a few things from Pur! I'd love to hear all about your haul if you pick something up!

ReplyDeleteI wonder how a lot effort you place to make such a fantastic informative site.
Great shades, all of them. Chrome Glaze High Shine Lip gloss is my favorite too.. its leaves a great hue and stays on longer than most other brands for me. Although one of my BFF does not agree with me...but as they say..to each their own!
