I really love shopping for bath & body products but lately I've been feeling like nothing was exciting me. I actually walked into Bath and Body Works yesterday and walked out empty-handed because nothing was jumping out at me. So needless to say, I can't wait to check out some of Ulta's new offerings.
Let's take a look!
Cowshed
This UK-based brand opened their first spa in an old cowshed in 1998 (hence the name) and their organic products are made with wildcrafted plant extracts and mood-boosting essential oils. They guarantee no parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates, animal ingredients (spare a little organic beeswax and wildflower honey), no artificial colors or fragrances and no animal testing.
There are five scent lines to choose from and the names are hilarious:
- Knackered Cow- a relaxing blend of lavender and eucalyptus.
- Moody Cow- a balancing blend of rose geranium, linden blossom and frankincense.
- Horny Cow- a seductive blend of rose absolute, patchouli, and vanilla with a pinch of cinnamon.
- Wild Cow- an invigorating blend of lemongrass, rosemary, and ginger.
- Grumpy Cow- an uplifting blend of mandarin, bitter orange, and grapefruit.
Prices range from $15-$39 and is available at Ulta.com
Grace Cole
Grace Cole, also based in the UK is a more affordable brand with a luxurious look and feel that's meant to bring a touch of indulgence to your daily life. There are seven scents available at Ulta including:
- White Nectarine & Pear
- Nectarine Blossom & Grapefruit
- Wild Fig & Pink Cedar
- Warm Vanilla & Sandalwood
- Ginger Lily & Mandarin
- Vanilla Blush & Peony
- Grapefruit, Lime & Mint
Prices range from $8-$20, and are available now at Ulta.com
Zoella is a UK-based beauty and fashion YouTube vlogger, and Ulta will be carrying her affordable bath & body products starting tomorrow (7/21). The line seems to have a sweet, bakery theme with products like Shower Shake, Bath Latte, Body Pudding, Bath Frosting, Body Fondant, and a fragrance that smells like Macaroons.
Prices range from $6.50-$18 and will be available at Ulta.com on 7/21
Thymes
I'm already familiar with Minneapolis-based brand Thymes, since I can find it in smaller gift boutiques near my home, but I'm excited to be able to use my Ulta points on them now! I've been a fan of their Eucalyptus scent for many years and my husband loves it too. It's not a "medicinal" smelling Eucalyptus, it's actually a very fresh and clean scent. There are five scents total at Ulta, including:

I will have to partake in a few of these. lol
ReplyDeleteI know right? I have no idea where to start...I want to try so many things! :)
DeleteOoo, I'm excited about the Cowshed line, since I see they have bath oils in some really nice sounding scents. I love using oils in my bath, because the fragrance is usually strong and they moisturize at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love oils too, they're my favorite since I have such dry skin. They seem to lock in moisture better than lotions or creams. :)
DeleteIt may sound funny, but as my belly has grown during pregnancy, if I use a bath oil, I know I can get by without having to lotion my legs afterward, which can be a real struggle! It's definitely a great way to lock in moisture.
DeleteSo true! I remember those days...when are you due? So exciting!
DeleteI will steer you to the Cowshed products. I got two lotions for Christmas last year and they were soooooo wonderful. If you are able to look at the fragrance ingredients on the website, consider getting the one with rose and ylang ylang - it is absolutely the most beautiful smell in the world, and this is coming from someone who does not usually like florals! Enjoy what you decide to get.
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm so happy to hear from someone who's tried them, thanks Nikole! I will definitely try that one out, it sounds wonderful!
