If you're not on Instagram, you might have missed the big news that broke yesterday in the makeup community...Urban Decay is launching a brand new Naked Palette, called
Naked Heat! It's going live June 12th on their website to their Beauty Junkies members, and then online at Sephora June 30th, Ulta.com on July 10th and in stores July 13th.
I've been waiting for a new Naked palette to launch, since I never ended up getting the Smoky one (I just don't do smoky eyes that often) and this one is filled with those warm, rich shades that have been hot for the past year or so. Basically, it's the ultimate fall pumpkin spice palette!

The packaging is a fiery copper shade which is super pretty! Inside, you get 12 warm shades from easy-to-pull-off neutrals to rich deep oranges, reds, and browns in both matte and shimmer finishes.
Shades include:
- Ounce: Ivory shimmer
- Chaser: Light nude matte
- Sauced: Soft terracotta matte
- Low Blow: Brown matte
- Lumbre: Copper shimmer with gold pearl
- He Devil: Burnt Red Matte
- Dirty Talk: Metallic burnt red
- Scorched: Mettalic Deep red with gold micro-shimmer
- Cayenne: Deep terracotta matte
- En Fuego: Burgundy matte
- Ashes: Deep reddish-brown matte
- Ember: Deep metallic copper-burgundy
Urban Decay is also launching three new shades of their Vice Lipstick...Fuel (warm peachy-nude cream), Heat (metallic burnt red-gold), and Scorched (metallic copper). These are limited edition and feature a copper cap.
Also launching are two new 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in the shades
Alkaline (deep wine) and
Torch (sienna brown). These will actually become part of the permanent collection!
What are your thoughts? Will you be purchasing anything from the new collection? I think I'm going to break down and buy the palette...even though I have a few with similar colors, like the Modern Renaissance. I just have a soft spot for the Naked Palettes because they have a great formula and were my first introduction into higher-end palettes. :)
I love this whole set and plan to get the palette for sure, maybe the lip colors and eyeliners too. Fall is my favorite time of year and I love the pumpkins and reds and russets of the season. Frankly I want to just roll around in this collection. There's a disturbing visual. ;-) These colors will look great on you!

DeleteI love the colors in the palette, but I have a sneaking suspicion that all the mid-tone shades will end up looking the same on deeper skins, especially when blended out. As much as I want it, I'll probably swatch it in-store before deciding on anything. The eyeliners though, they will be mine! Gorgeous shades, especially for fall, and I can already see myself using Alkaline for a smokey eye. The lipsticks are pretty, but I'm not a fan of metallics so I'll be skipping them.
ReplyDeleteMinor gripe - I like the packaging, but I wish they'd keep it consistent through the Naked series! Naked 1 is that velour packaging [hate!] 2 & 3 are tins [love] and the Smoky was plastic, I think? This is similar to the smoky as far as I can tell, but... as someone who's a bit anal about these things I'd like my collection to look uniform, lol.

ReplyDeleteI will most definitely be getting the palette. I think it will look beautiful on fair complexions. Can.not.wait. I also love the Alkaline eyeliner. It looks gorgeous. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
