Day 3 of my March Favorites brings me to my most-used rosy-toned eyeshadow palettes.
Favorite Rosy-Toned Palette (high-end):
Lorac Unzipped Palette ($42)
This palette is actually pretty new to me...I've only had it for about a month or so, but I already like it more than my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (which used to be the rosy-toned palette I would reach for the most). I just love Lorac's eyeshadow formula so much...it's so smooth and blendable, not to mention highly pigmented. It's not that the Naked 3 is a bad palette either! I would say that's my second choice when it comes to these kind of shades. I just favor the colors in the Lorac palette a little bit more and the shimmery shades are shiny without being too glittery, which the Naked 3 can sometimes be guilty of.
Favorite Rosy-Toned Palette (drugstore:
Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette ($15)
I have a few rosy-toned drugstore palettes I like to wear often (CoverGirl TruNaked Roses, Makeup Revolution Iconic 3) but this one is probably my favorite because of the beautiful shade range and pigmented formula. It actually has some very similar shades as the Unzipped palette and it's kind of funny that both of these palettes have yellow packaging (which you don't see every day!). I also love the variety that this palette offers...there are a few different matte transition shades, matte and shimmer highlight shades, deeper crease colors, and shimmery lid colors. The only downside to this palette is that is does fade throughout the day with no primer underneath but as long as you wear primer, it's amazing!

What are your favorite rosy-toned palettes?
Tomorrow I'll be posting my favorite Nude Palettes!
I always wanted to try those chocolate bar dupes from Makeup Revolution! I knew they made Too Faced dupes but I didn't see this yellow one before. I love the colors especially the rosy browns, burgundy, and matte lilac shade on the bottom. Adding it to my Ulta list for my next order!
ReplyDeleteWow, the MR palette looks fantastic. Ulta is having a buy two get one free on MR products, so you could get three of these palettes for $30 ($10 each, duh). My local Ulta carries a small collection of MR but not their chocolate palettes so I've never seen them in person -- which other ones would you recommend? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am trying really hard not to purchase any more makeup until I hit pan on the ones I already own but the struggle is real lol
