Read on for my full review and swatches!
As far as I know, these are the first blushes to be released by Dose of Colors, but since I'm a huge fan of their eyeshadows, I just knew that the formula of these would be amazing. They come packaged in mint green compacts that feel very strong and sturdy (they're made of a very thick plastic). The outside of each compact says, "Blush Like You Mint It" which is a really cute touch.
These are made in the U.S.A.and are $22 each for .16 oz...not inexpensive but compared to other blushes of the same size from Nars ($30 for .16 oz), Lorac ($23 for .17 oz), Benefit ($29 for .17 oz), or Tarte ($29 for .2 oz.) these are slightly less costly than the mid-range brands as far as price.
There are two shades in the range...Amazemint which is a peachy coral shade with a very slight sheen to the finish...
...and Statemint, which is a classic pink with a matte finish.
The formula of these blushes is absolutely divine! They're very pigmented, but also very soft and extremely blendable so you don't have to fear clown cheeks even though the pigmentation is there. A quick tap of your brush loads up just the right amount of color so these will last a really long time. I love how soft and natural they look on my cheeks and the sheen in the Amazemint shade is so subtle it doesn't accentuate pores or texture (hooray!).
Overall, these are a new favorite for me and I really hope to see Dose of Colors come out with more blush shades in the future...I would be first in line to buy them!

I've never heard of this brand until recently when I saw their palettes on the Ulta website. They seemed to have really good reviews so I was thinking about a purchase. Do you know if they are also available in-store or is it only Ulta.com? Thank you! Love your blog BTW.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! Love both of these colors, so pretty!
