Description:
The fearsomely beautiful palette includes six brand-new shades of our Color Source Buildable Blush and Light Source Illuminating Highlighters, inspired by the beauty and brilliance of the film’s new heroine, Carina Smyth. Our silky-smooth matte and satin blushes and highlighters are paraben free and infused with anti-aging antioxidants such as Pomegranate, Acai, and Vitamins A, C, and E. These complexion-enhancing formulas can be dusted on lightly for a soft, natural look or layered for dramatic results.
Made in the U.S.A, Total Weight .54 oz.
The packaging is more beautiful in person that it looked when I saw photos of it on social media. The black background with the gold design is stunning...I can't stop looking at it!
Inside there is a full-sized mirror with the words "Chart a Course for the Stars" written on it and six pans of the Color Source Blushes and Light Source Illuminators (all new shades).
The Color Source Blushes are one of my all-time favorite blush formulas because they are so smooth and silky...they glide across your skin effortlessly and look so soft and beautiful. There are two shades in this palette...Lost Soul, which is a nude with a hint of pink, and Caribbean, a dusty pink shade.
The Light Source Illuminators are also among my favorites when it comes to highlighters due to the finely milled formula that looks very natural on the skin. There are four of them in this palette...Fortune (cream), Destined (champagne), Star Reader (gold) and Boho Spirit (rose gold).
As expected, the formula didn't disappoint and I found myself oohing and aahing at the super soft, pigmented texture as I swatched them. The shades are so perfect and I can't wait to wear them this Spring and Summer.
When I first heard about this collection, I didn't think I wanted it...in fact I even included this in my anti-haul for this month (awkward...). It wasn't that I didn't think it looked nice-I just didn't feel like I personally needed another cheek palette in my already extensive collection. But now that I've tried it, I can definitively say it's worth the money if you find yourself in the market for a palette like this. Highly recommend!
Available starting tomorrow at LoracCosmetics.com and at Ulta Beauty and Kohls on April 16th.
Alright missy, there you go again making me want to buy something I wasn't interested in before. My wallet curses you!
ReplyDeleteHaha sorry Lisa, LOL! It's such an awesome palette though, I don't have to do that much to make it look good. :)
DeleteI don't need another cheek palette, but I would buy the Fortune highlighter, if it were sold separately! I was impressed with the Lorac illuminator formula when I previously switched them. Fortune is lighter than their permanent offerings, which is what I wanted.
ReplyDeleteI agree Susan! I hope one day they release one like that permanently! :)
DeleteSame here Lisa. I want and need this now! Will you be reviewing the eyeshadow palette too Jen?
ReplyDeleteHi Kirstin, Yes! I just reviewed it this morning. :)
DeleteOhhh I am so getting this! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I was just thinking I read you didn't want to buy any more highlighter palettes. I guess this one must be worth it!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't planning on buying any myself but Lorac actually sent me this one to review. :)
DeleteI own this palette (I bought it back in May and it's the only cheek product I've been using since then) and it's literally worth buying the entire palette just to get Destined. It's such a gorgeous, subtle-then-BAM highlight.
